From the AP:

BALTIMORE — Michael Phelps arrived by water to a ceremony at the Baltimore Inner Harbor honoring eight of Maryland’s Olympic heroes.
No, Phelps didn’t swim in the murky water. The Olympic swimming star and his mother were aboard The Pride of Baltimore II, which docked near the amphitheater where the event took place.
Phelps won four gold medals and two silvers in London last summer to complete a career haul of 22 medals, including 18 gold.
He and the seven other Maryland Olympians were given a key to the city by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
During his speech, Phelps thanked the hundreds of fans in attendance for their support and paid homage to the two local sports teams, the Orioles and Ravens.
Gold medal winner Katie Ledecky was also honored.

I ate an egg sandwich today with hot sauce. It was so good.

Here are some of my favorite song lyrics. The song is "All Along The Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix:

""There must be some kind of way out of here,"
Said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion,
I can't get no relief.
Businessman they drink my wine,
Plowman dig my earth
None will level on the line, nobody offered his word, hey"

"No reason to get excited,"
The thief, he kindly spoke
"There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke
But you and I, we've been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late"

All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too

Outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl
*buisness man there, drink my wine,
Come and take my herb.

Two new Banjees songs!

Two new joints with a little digital clipping but still pretty decent. Potentially going to be released along with other Banjees tracks as a full-length if God is good. This is the album that has taken literally years to make - my personal Chinese Democracy (sans super-fame or any anticipation from "fans")

The songs are entitled Boomers and Thank You Letters
